Acting on Your Report

The purpose of 360 degree feedback is to aid your development.

For development to happen you need to understand and accept what the report is saying to you, reflect on what it means and decide where you need to behave differently. And then you need to commit to taking action.

Without this final, critical step, the process will have raised your level of self-awareness but will not help you change your behaviour or improve your performance.

However, we recognise however that not everybody will be able to have a facilitated debrief and so reports come with guidance about how to read, interpret and respond to them.
